From 1 September 2016, the activities of the Research Centre of FTU in Namur are progressively transferred to the University of Louvain-la-Neuve (UCL), in the framework of a new Chair Labour-University, taking over the existing Chair Max Bastin.

The future research projects will be developed in this new institutional framework, under the leading of Patricia Vendramin, professor at UCL,director of FOPES (Open faculty for economic and social policy) and Chair holder. The Chair is integrated in the Interdisciplinary Research Centre on Work, State and Society (CIRTES).
